- Bachelor of Design, Alberta College of Art & Design (now Alberta University of the Arts)
- Experience in marketing, advertising and publishing
- Polished design, illustration and production skills in the Adobe Creative Suite, other software packages and traditional methods
- Web development in WordPress, HTML and CSS for content (definitely not a PHP and JS front-end developer)
- Basic video and audio editing
- Project management skills to ensure quality work is completed by deadline
- Ability to speak the languages of developers, copywriters, freelancers, printers and other suppliers to achieve comfortable working relationships and better outcomes
